After an hour with the rather lovely Chloe & Craig Barlow, Keto chefs from Norfolk, I’m absolutely convinced their Bagels are a great solution for beginners looking for lunch options. Personally I don’t tend to eat until the evening but many struggle planning the first few weeks of Keto because of limited grab & co lunches. The choices are now limitless.. tadaaa!

Keto Bagels [Chloe & Craig Barlow, Your Keto Life UK]

“These are our go to for a quick and easy breakfast or lunch. Spread with Keto jam, pate or make a great deli sandwich with meat, cheese and pickles. They work out around 2g net carb each!”

  • 5 eggs Separated.
  • 1 tbsp psyllium husk powder.
  • 1 TSP pink salt.
  • 200g strained cheese (tvorog 30%).
  • 6 tbsp ground flax seed.
  • 1 tbsp whole flax seed.
  • 1 TSP baking powder.
  • 1 TSP oregano.
  • Sesame seeds.

Mix egg whites with strained cheese, salt and psyllium.

Once mixed add yolks beat for 5 mins.

Add baking powder flax and oregano.

Leave for 20 mins.

Shape (a piping bag works wonders) in to 6, sprinkle with sesame seeds, flax seeds & oregano.

Bake for 17mins at 200 degrees.

Leave to cool.

Option to add Parmesan to the mix and on top.
